Columbus T., age 22, P.O.W. in Ohio


Spent the day mostly in cleaning up, ironing blankets, clothes &c.

Remainder of the month spent in the usual way Monotony, and hindrances at literary employment. Weather mostly pleasant — more so, than expected from this Northern clime. One more little snow, sufficient to cover the ground. Rations not enough — appetite always calling for more.
