Killed a turkey but did not cook it as all the ladies went to camps. I made Willie another gown out of an old ( ? ) tail. Mrs. Vance went home this evening to stay. Mrs. Robertson stays in her room now. Mr. Henry & I went to the mill dam lake this evening. He has been in Asheville all day. They have got the dam so they can grind. He got some sugar & soda, also two leather belts. Soda is 40 cts. a lb. & coffee 50 cts. per lb. Mail came this morning, nothing new. The Regiment here is to leave on Monday for Raleigh & then to Wilmington they think.
