Rain all day. I made my apron Cousin Mary Moore gave me. Mrs. Robertson & Mrs. Jervis intended to go to camps but it rained all day. Mr. Henry made 24 sacks for mill. Capt. Creasmon dined here today, had turkey for dinner & duck. Capt. Robertson came tonight, very wet. He was quite sick in the night, had cramp collic. Mill run tonight some time, got our rolls from machine today. Got the sewing machine needles yesterday 8 for 1$, also a letter from Lou. She has lost another babe, miscarriage. I had a letter from Dora & Matt last Monday. All well. They are going to make them some cotton dresses. They sent me a piece of palmetto to wear on my bonnet, & some wild violets.
