Zonnie has the measles broke out all over her this morning. The rest all well. A very cold morning, ice nearly an inch thick in the piazza. Heavy frost but at this time ’tis pleasant in the sun. Nearly twelve. Mr. Henry is sitting here reading, the children up at Murrey’s house. Our circuit preacher’s name is Smith. He preaches every three weeks on Tuesday. I expect his congregation will be small. I never know when he does preach till after it is over. I wrote a long letter to Dora & Matt this evening.
