Cold & snowing, warm in the first part of the night. Willie was feverish, did not rest well. I still get up soon & stay in the kitchen till breakfast. The negroes had their corn husking last night. Mr. Henry took 45 lbs. of meal & 10 sacks of flour. The meal was the darkies. I covered Pinck’s & Zona’s stools over & made Mr. Henry a candle screen. Willie fretful. Hands shucked corn. Tena went up to the Baptist meeting on Hominy.
