Cool & a heavy frost. I went to the mill. George wanted me to look over E. P. Knight’s account. He thought Knight was getting along too fast. I guess it will be all right when Mr. Henry gets home & how I want to see him. Emaline Murray spent the day here, had a nice dinner & even coffee for dinner. I made me a course skirt of shirting on the machine today. It worked finely. I sprinkled the jeans this morning. All are well. Jim set in the morning to work. John not come.
