I finished the vest after dinner & helped Fannie empty lard. I blistered my hand. My head aches a good deal tonight. Mrs. Fanning spooled here half the day & warped after dinner the jeans for negro’s clothes. All are well. A beautiful day. Nothing of interest going on. Dr. Hilliard sent & got two turkeys here last Monday. He is on furlough. P. H. Thrash is expected home soon.
