I was sick all day with headache, did nothing at all. Took salts last night but they did me no good. Those men with Starnes left this morning. Uncle Sam cut up the meat & salted it today. The women finished the guts. The children quiet all day, they behave well when I am sick. Mr. Henry in the house nearly all day. He stays with me when I am sick. He is a fond, kind husband. My head got nearly well after supper.
