Mail came but nothing new. I got no letters. The several came for others. I made Fannie a sack & put up the sassauge. Atheline made her saque. Rained all day. Mr. Henry will be back tomorrow if it does not rain. Willie getting well & I am glad of it, for it distresses me sadly to see my little ones suffer. Two men stay here tonight. They came to the mill (from Transylvania Co.). Tom Tidwell not gone home yet. Branton is staying in the Academy.
