Pasted in & finished the scrap books. Read & knit some in the evening. Reread “Ralph Runnion or the Outlaw’s Doom.” Mr. Henry went to Haywood today, to be gone two or three days to see J. Russell & Abram Fulbright concerning his & Terry’s affair. Branton & the young man Love started this morning. Branton drinking all the time he was here. Atheline staid down here tonight. I read in that novel till bedtime & knit on Pinck’s socks footing some for him.
