Dora lined Berry’s sheep skin. Matt sick all day with headache. We are having some right nice mellons, small but sweet. All are well & I am glad of it. Mr. Henry gone to Bent Creek. I fear they will have trouble up there with old Jim Case. He don’t want Newton Taylor to live there. I fear ’twill be a fuss. Mr. Henry came back at night, nobody hurt. Dora & Berry went to the grave yard this evening & rode the new matches very gentle. Matt & I went to the hotel orchard & came back with Berry & Dora as they came around the road from grave yard.
