Mr. Henry had a letter from Davenport today saying Lou had lost her babe. I am really sorry as she is very fond of children. I selected for my scrap book also Mr. Henry’s. Ely Glenn was here in the evening. Mr. Henry has been out all day to Sandy Bottom, he & E. Glenn.
