Some rain last night warm and very muddy Elick came here last Friday night (one of Pa’s slaves) going to Tenn to Mr Neilson he moved back to Tenn about a month ago, they did not come by to see us I think they treated us badly. Elick says they are all well. At home. Nothing of importance going on Mr Henry is getting sleepy so must soon stop, the children are very attentive to their lambs Siddie is afraid of them. But Eddie and Gussie are delighted Willie does not care much about them he is more like an old man Gus still holds on to the boots. Rained all day Pinck has just got through washing I will be glad when the itch gets out the country. As long as the children go to school they have it.
