I got up this morning and after feeing the colts I went up town to get some mail and post some letters. The mail had but just get in at 6 o’clock this morning and was not distributed yet but I waited and got a letter from Kate. Wrote copies studied on my part of the tragedy act. Commenced a letter to Kate, this forenoon. I had trouble with one of my Bookkeeping scholars this afternoon and had to talk with him after school and I tried to settle the matter but I am afraid it will not stay settled. The actors all met here tonight and we practiced for a long time. I am afraid it will not go off as it ought to seem stormy tonight.
