I got up before 5 o’clock this morning and found snow drifts in all directions.  I went up to help Mr. Case begin taking an inventory of the goods in the store.  There was no road at all and I was the first one to go up town from this way.  I was about ¾ of an hour getting there.  Worked hard all day, writing and figuring.  I received the Dexter Leader by mail tonight as the stage managed through.  Fred and Jessie came home today.  It was cold today; more so this morning, than tonight, I think.  Did not get any papers as I ought too and poke to the Post Master about it.  I fell pretty tired tonight, but must look over some of todays figures.
