It began to rain last night before I went to bed and kept it up all night, so that this morning the snow was still lower and quite slushy. It is a little cooler tonight and has been snowing a little. I went up the Chapel this morning and got the bookkeeping works over and announced that the class would form this afternoon. Then I went to see Fred Waters and took dinner at Mr. Waters with Fred and his wife Carrie. Taught Bookkeeping and Penmanship this afternoon. Fred came over with me tonight to get some books of his out of the house. I fed Fred Neill’s colts their carrots tonight and took other care of them. Have been writing this evening for practice. I would like to see my Kate tonight.
