Good day at school. Saw Brooks Yee!! :) Damn, he looks so good. (Me and Karen bonded in the bathroom.) Came home, did homework and watched story. Talked to Karen and SEAN beeped in!! :) We talked and I had to go eat. Brittany called!! :) Talked for one and a half hours. She’s doing good and it was really good to hear her voice. Talked to Karen again and then called Sean. He seemed very happy with me.

Mild. Same as yesterday. In study hall Mary told me a dream she had about us walking hand in hand up a golden pathway in the sky toward heaven -- bright and shining. Isn’t that beautiful -- I wonder will it ever be? Mary has offered to help me. I love her. Helen has started wearing lipstick. Me no like -- it doesn’t seem like Helen. Music lesson. Mrs. Marsh called me a stranger. Hair looked lovely -- washed it. Studied late.

Finished writing a letter to Kate this morning and wrote a short one to ma and one to Effie. Practiced writing the rest of the forenoon, went over to our house and got a few things. Took a shave. Taught writing this afternoon as usual, had 3 new students. I will have to write a good supply of copies. I called on Prof. Dolly after school to talk about the coming catalogues. The weather was not cold this afternoon although the wind was northwest. I have been writing copies tonight, and preparing to study some in Bookkeeping. Well, all are in bed but Fred and I and so I must propose to him that we retire.

Called upon Wittkowsky and Rintels to purchase me a neat suit of clothes and overcoat to celebrate my marriage anniversary in.
Obtained a nice suit and fit. Cost including overcoat and two kerchiefs, with Suspenders and cravat is $75.25.
Took meals at the Central Hotel. Highest price for best cotton 14 and 3/4. Called upon the Vances. Met there Rev. Mr. Davis of Gaston Co.
Took the train for Raleigh [from Charlotte] at 7 P.M. Met Bryson Rep. from Jackson, which county he represented as being great for cabbages, having raised a large quantity himself that weighed each 1, 5lbs. Good for grazing. Settled down to a restless sleep.

My head pains badly. Cool & cloudy. Nothing of interest. Fannie made souse today, got all the lard put away. Jinnie & Atheline began to stuff sausage this morning, get along very slowly. By night I was sick with headache. Mr. Henry gave me ipacach to vomit and I was quite sick till 10 o’clock. I lay on the floor vs. a bed till 12 & then went to bed. He is so kind to me. I am very thankful. I have such a fond husband.
